What does service and upgrade work cover?

Diagnosing an underperforming or dead system: donor alignment, amplifier faults, oscillation, water-damaged connectors, failed splitters, and coverage lost to new walls or tenant build-outs. We repair, re-balance, or extend the existing system rather than sell a replacement by default.

What does it cost?

Diagnostic visits are a flat fee per building; repairs and zone extensions are quoted against findings. Full replacement is only recommended when the existing head-end is obsolete or out of FCC certification.

Can you service a system you didn't install?

Yes — a large share of this work is inherited systems, including ones whose original installer is out of business.

What this covers

How the scope actually runs.

We start with a diagnostic benchmark against the current floor plan, then identify the actual cause — donor drift, oscillation shutdown, water intrusion at the roof penetration, failed splitters, or simply a system that was undersized on day one.

From there the fix is either repair, re-balance, zone expansion, or a head-end swap to modern 5-band certified hardware that reuses the existing coax plant wherever the loss budget allows. Reusing usable infrastructure is typically 40–60% cheaper than a full rip and replace.

Service agreements include remote monitoring, priority dispatch and scheduled preventive checks so the next failure is caught before your staff report it.

Our booster keeps shutting itself off. Why?+

Almost always oscillation — the donor and interior antennas are hearing each other — or an uplink overload protection trip. Both are diagnosable on the first visit.

Can you expand a system we did not install?+

Yes, provided the existing head-end has headroom and the coax plant tests within the loss budget. The diagnostic visit determines that.
